Tornado Damage from Richton Park area

Kevin Paluch snapped these pictures around the Richton Park area. This time he was armed with a 7mp camera instead of just a camera phone. :)

Looking west over Chicago Hieghts.                         Rt 30 & Torrence. The tornado/funnel
Perhaps a wall cloud or the meso?                             crossed over 394. Looks like a funnel
                                                                                         sandwiched between two wall clouds.

Tornado Pictures

Courtesy of my Uncle - John Mackowiak of New Lenox. While at work, John heard the warnings and saw radar images on tv. After seeing that this was actually a real threat, John - armed with only a cell phone, chased to capture the twister SW of Richton Park at the corner of Ridgeland Ave & Stegar. He noted seeing 2 tornadoes at once. Thank you John for sending these.

BTW, John said the adrenaline was pumping, the heart was in full speed, and the excitement of the chase was better than watching a porno.  LMAO.
