Waitress date dissappointment

The date never happened. On Tuesday, Brittani instructed me to call her Friday afternoon. After a text around noon, a voicemail around 3p, and another text about 5p on Friday - no response back. Our date was for 7p at a place to be determined. I received a call from Brittani at 615p. In a depressing slow voice, she says that her day sucked, it was slow, just want to stay home with my cousin and chill. Yada yada yada, she says to call about 830 to see if she what she’s doing and maybe we’ll go out to shoot some pool or darts. I called. Brittani says in a mellow down tone, I’m smokin pot and not going out. Listen Marty, I know you hit on me, but I just want to be friends. I’m telling you this now because I don’t want anyone’s feelings to get hurt.
My opinion. That’s all bullshit. Why would agree to going out on a date, blow me off, then tell me you just wanted to be friends. Bullshit. I had originally asked her out 3 weeks prior. She loved the poems I wrote and I even mentioned the date in the poem. She knew it was a date, she was definitely flirting with me all those weeks, and I know and could see that she was genuinely excited & flattered about our date.
What a disappointment. I’m not upset that the date didn’t happen, but I’m soo disappointed in Brittani. She was a totally different girl on the phone than at the restaurant. What happened to that fun, up beat, quick witted, woman I met? Did I mention that she can’t drive? Hmmm, geez, I wonder why. There’s more red flags that tell me to stay away. I can tell you that there will be no friendship. I haven’t contacted her since and don’t plan on to.
I certaintly know how to pick-em, right! Geez whiz. Kathy was a saint compared to these women.
