Merry Christmas

I’m wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe but happy Holiday Season. Ok, enough with the mushy stuff. :)

Last night, we spent about 1h 40m on a video call - using skype - with some of the family over by the Tuckers. For the longest time, I felt like I was there and didn’t miss a beat. They were all plowed. Dorreen was holding the couch down and poor Jessie couldn’t complete a shot. Speaking of shots, we all did a shot and toasted. I gave Darren a pint of beer, and gave Grandma a hug & Kiss. haha. That Skype video is freaking cool. Darren will be video calling us later today from Lisle.

One of the funnier moments - there were many - but it had to involve the gag I played on Trina. While on video skype with the family, I cell phone called trina and placed her on speaker phone. I said to Trina “Hey, I’m at the Tuckers, when are you going to get here”. Ofcourse Trina didn’t believe me, so I had Grandma Z, Shane, Ashley all talk to Trina. (Remember, Trina is on speaker phone.) Trina wasn’t planning on going to the Tuckers because of Transportation of Kids issues, but when she heard my voice, she was ready to pack up and go! Being that I do have a heart, I couldn’t let her pack up 24 kids and drive to the Tuckers, so I told her “Trina, I’m not at the Tuckers”. Which then she replied “I’m so confused”. She finally did figure it out that I was talking to them via video phone. I wish I had video taped that whole scene from my end. Priceless.

It is Chirstmas Morning and I’m just waiting for Ma & Rob to awaken. A cold front is about 50 miles offshore plowing eastward providing us with some showers and maybe a thunderstorm. Hopefully later today, we will take the boat out into the bay for our 2nd test run. Our first test run about a week ago didn’t do well and we discovered alot of stuff that needed fixin with the engine. Rob did alot of engine work on the boat and we are anxious to see how it performs under a load. It sounds great in the yard. :)
