Great Halloween Weekend
November 1, 2009 by T Love.
Melissa and Sofia came down Saturday afternoon for some Trick & Treating. Melissa and I decided to cook Ma & Rob some dinner which consisted of Salad, Steak N Shrip Kabobs on the grill, corn on the cob on the grill, and pumpkin pie for desert. Everything turned out good except for the pumpkin pie. I don’t think that was meant to be cooked in a toaster oven. lol.
Trick or treating was a success! Sofia and Melissa had alot of fun. I wasn’t planning on dressing up, but at the last minute, I threw on my scaracrow costume on. We walked for about 90 minutes and got a decent amount of candy. Only about 15% of the houses participated. Many blocks were dead. That aspect was dissapointing.
After trick or treating, we all gathered in the back yard around a bonfire, drank, and roasted some marshmellows under the full moon. Perfect, perfect, perfect.
Sunday was a relaxin day sort of. I helped Sofia plant her pumpkin seeds in the back yard and we all played some Wii. I have pictures of the weekend and will upload them as soon as I can.
