Took the FAA’s AT-SAT Test (again)

I took the AT-SAT exam in Daytona Beach today. I know I didn’t get as high of a score as I did back in May 2007. I crashed one plane into the airport (don’t know where he came from) and I had 1 separation error (I knew I shouldn’t have accepted the hand off!) Grrr. Top it off, I landed about 7 aircraft into the airport in the wrong direction before realizing my mistake.

A score of 70 is passing, 85 is well-qualified. I’m woried that I didn’t make the well-qualified list. I will know my test results in a few days. Grrrrrr.

Now I’m killing a little time by filling up my stomach at the Daytona Ale House. Then back to the girlfriends for some pumpkin carving, then back to Tampa.

I know I haven’t updated the blog or site in a while. I have more posts to post and I will get to them as soon as I humanly can. I know its a broken record…so keep listening!

Old roommates pictures of his newborn

My roommate from NIU and Naperville, Adam, has shared some of his newborn daughter, Ava, pictures. Adam says “We are ajusting to some different sleep patterns, and Ava is now showing her fussy side, but she is still a good girl for Mom and Dad, and growing every day.  Enjoy!”

Ahh, a day of rest

Melissa had some catching up to do back home this weekend so I took advantage of this new founded free time.

Sunday….I never got out of my PJ’s. I lounged around all day, watched football, relaxed, and kept pouring cold Yuengling Beer on draft. I didn’t work on anything else. What a great day!

A very tired weekend

Saturday, Rob and I did some yard work. We picked up some free banana trees and planted them. We also got rid of some of the trash in the yard left behind from the previous owners. Melissa and Sofia came over that afternoon to spend the weekend with me. Saturday evening, we had a late dinner at Mongolian Grill. It was gooood. We left the restaurant about 920p b/c we needed to get home so I could work my 1st overnight shift at my new job.

For those who don’t know, my new part time job is at the St. Pete Times Forum in the housekeeping/Conversion department. I was working Conversion that night after Metallica played. Pretty neat to see Metallica’s huge crew break down the equipment, stage, lights, and speakers above all within about 3 hours. Wow. I can tell you, conversion is neat, but its alot of hard work for the wage they pay. In another words, its not really worth it. But I’ll test trial it for the rest of this week and see whether or not I want to keep it.

I arrived home about 545a Sunday morning and caught some zzzzz’s. Melissa, Sofia, and I had tickets for the 135p Tampa Bay Rays last game of the season. It was both of their first time at a ball park and I think it went very well. Before the game, we visited the Rays tank out in center field where we petted and hand fed the rays. Neat stuff. Sad to report that the Rays lost. The 6th inning really sucked as the NYY scored 10 runs. Horrible. Otherwise, another fun and good time at the ole ball park. I have some pictures from the game that I’ll post sometime in the future.

When we got home from the game, we played some guitar hero and then Melissa headed off into the sunset.
