Fishing

Rob and I tried our luck in Tampa Bay by the Gandy Bridge. The water was a little choppy with that brisk East wind in exposed areas, but we were somewhat protected most of the time. Fishing went quite well and Rob ended up being the King of catching Catfish. Unreal. We brought a few cats and some other fish back home that day, filet them, and cooked them up. Yummy, fresh fish.

Kathy thought it was just ok along with Ma. Rob and I was just tickled that we were eating fresh fish we caught. Just as Rob, Kathy, and I were finishing up dinner, we noticed ma in the kitchen. She was pigging out on the catfish. I guess it wasn’t that bad afterall. Pictures and videos will soon be uploaded.

Sox vs. Rays baseball

A few of us are going to the game this Saturday night at 708p. Thats right, 708p. The current plan is to do some tailgating before the game. Should be good times

Midweek recap

Alright, I guess since things have relatively settled down, I can update you all about stuff over the past 6 weeks or so. Kathy and I are back together and have been for a while. I’m currently living with Ma & Rob but stay by Kathys for half the week. I’m no longer working at Daytona Airport doing weather observations because of stupid paranoid unqualified station manager Vickisue Gray. Vickisue - doesn’t that sound like a redneck trailer trash name? Well, she does fit the bill so…. lol.

I am job hunting, but no hits. I will be applying for the FAA in early July. My hope is to work at Sarasota Airport (SRQ). In the meantime, it appears I will recieve unemployment benefits and will continue to seek employment. Surprisingly, I have kept busy since the move. I’ve gone through my stuff and gave some stuff to goodwill and I’m selling stuff on Ebay and books on Amazon.

I do commute to Daytona on Wednesdays though for my bowling league. The league ends April 22nd.

Happy Easter

Kathy and I asked Ma & Rob if they would like to join us for Easter dinner at Kathy’s place. Without hesitation, ma said yes. Kathy and I made Easter dinner for Ma, Rob, and ofcourse ourselves. Our dinner included Ham, fried potatoes, corn on the cob, buns, Grandma Eisses’s baked beans, a few beef ribs, and Hurricane 5 wine. Yummy. Ma was very happy and pleased that Kathy and I cooked because she didn’t have to do anything. :)
