Back in FL
I arrived safely back to relatively warmer florida around 1020p and had to work at midnight. Yuk. It feels good not to drive anymore and I can’t wait to go to bed in about 30 minutes. Ahh bed. Speaking of which is one good thing about the break up - is that I got my queen size bed back. Ahh sleep. I’m so freaking tired. Heck, even 4 hours of sleep at this point will feel pretty awesome. hehe.
The Chicago vacation was a mixed bag for obvious reasons. Aside from Kathy’s situation, I did go skiing in Michigan on Saturday, saw a bunch of family including Great Grandma Fick, and went to a smashing pumpkins concert in Downtown Chicago Monday night. So lots of fun and thats just what the doctor ordered. I also brought down my small boat to do some fishing. Yay. My appetite has returned along with with my enlarged stomach! lol. I will be getting back on track right after I get some sleep today. I think today will be a day of rest.
Kathy is back in FL as well. I don’t think it has really hit her yet but as a friend, I will give my support, comfort, & love to her. She may be my ex, but I still know how to bring a smile to her face!
