Yeah, so I discovered that my apt does not come with heat! So, I’m using the gas oven - set to 350 - to take the chill out of my pad again. This morning, it was about 66 inside. Brrr.

Lacey, stayed overnight again. I will be returning her to her mother on Friday. Friday morning, I will be heading to Tampa for Halloween! Can’t wait.

I can’t believe its been 3 weeks already since my last post. As you can imagine, I’ve been busy visiting and hanging out with Kathy on my weekends off - traveling to tampa alot.  This past weekend, Kathy and Lacey (her cat - I mean our daughter) visited me in Daytona. We were quite active with activities including making orange juice pineapple and strawberry smoothies, pizza, pacman, beer, Tennis, blockbuster video’s, Robbies and Mkay’s, and our first and very successfull attempt at stuffed pork chops. Yummy in our tummy. Geez, we didn’t even get to all the things on the list. lol.

For those wondering minds, Kathy and I are doing well.

Record High Low’s were recorded at several sites on Tues, Oct 28th across FL including Daytona Beach. Record Lows Tuesday and Wednesday morning all over the state. This morning, record lows were reported at Orlando and Jacksonville.

Daytona’s old/new record high low is 66 in 1957 / 63 in 2008. Daytona’s record low this morning is 43. So far I have only seen ASOS dip down to 44 with a dewpoint of 35. Daytona was clr and 10 all night but the NW winds were up around 7kts, hence limiting radiational cooling. Darn it. If the winds were calm, I have no doubt we would have smashed that record - dipping into the upper 30’s.

Oct 29th at 736a, its 30 in Tallahassee, 28 about 60 miles north of Tampa, near freezing middle center of the state.

Kind of neat to see pre-asos records being broke with asos. lol.

I’m Shivering me timbers. Global warming? haha.

Kathy and I seperated for a short time. I initiated the separation but do regret it. I hope she takes me back. I screwed up on alot of things big time, and I would be devestated if she was not a significant part of my future. We talked last night and honestly, the decision could go either way. I hope to have an answer later today.

Infact, as you may have noticed the time at which I am typing this. Its nearly 5a. Sunday night I could barely sleep and Monday night was worse. I only got 2.5 hours of sleep. I just can’t stop thinking about her and us! My heart feels so wierd past few days.

I joined a bowling league a few weeks ago. That was my first ball thrown since I left the Naperville bowling league 4 years ago! I usually can get 2 games near or above 200. My league is mostly older folks, but the older folks on my team of 4 have some pretty darn high averages.

Since mid August, I have gotten more adjusted to working the midnight shifts. There not too bad anymore. Whats great is that the dry season is here for the most part. Yay. Clear and 10. One drawback is I am confused alot on what day it is. All I know is I have to work or I am off. If its Wed or Sat, I usually have to think about it longer than usual. lol.

I am working on the “Daytona Beach” section of my website. Over 700 pictures will soon become available! Many great times and memories.

This past weekend, I moved my stuff out of the west palm beach storage and put it all in my apt. There was no need to pay 85 bucks a month anymore. Plus I can use that money towards loans and food.
