Here come’s lucky
WTF. We lost. When I say we, I mean Kathy, Kevin, and I. The plan was simple. All we were supposed to do is hit the dog track to win the 8th race trifecta. By winning, we would recieve a free ticket for the 10th race supertrifecta which was a force payout. Well, we didn’t win the trifecta in the 8th race. So that was $42 gone (16 a piece). Errr.
But instead of going home, we bet on a few more races. The last race, Kevin and I picked out four dogs. We were only going to do a 4 dog quinella. However, it was decided to bump that up to a 4 dog trifecta. It turns out, we lost the trifecta but would have - if we played - won the quinella. In the end, $51 was up in smoke. What was supposed to be a $16 loss or a potential $30 gain turned into a huge ass loss. We suck at betting. I think we need to practice online for free before we hit the dog track again.
As depressing as this sounds, it was actually a great, fun time and Kathy ate Ice cream. She was in heaven.
